Accounts
The Organization
When you initially register to UF Cloud through the website, an organization is automatically created and your account is placed inside as an administrator. If you are working alongside a team, we recommend that you add any other member into the organization using the “Users and Groups” tab.
User Groups
Inside the organization lies user-groups. As all user-accounts must be tied to a group, the initial administrative account is placed inside a default user-group.
Administrators
Administrators have full control over the organization. Only administrators have the sufficient authority to perform actions such as creating user-groups, adding new accounts, and buying as well as transferring credits.
However, this does not mean they don’t have access to compute-nodes—as even administrators have to be tied to an user-group, they can simply use the credit-wallet of their user-group to reserve access to our servers.
Users
Regular users with the authority to exchange credits to reserve node access and compute using our nodes.
Compute Nodes
Those servers where you do the computing. These machines come according to a number of specifications as well as customizations. They are all built to be among the best environments possible to train, fine-tune, and research AI.
